At our AGM in Rotterdam we selected Project Crimson as our International Service Project for the next two years. The project is based in India and aims to raise funds to enable women to start small scale production of sanitary napkins. This will help women support themselves and their family by making and selling the napkins. Also with the taboos about menstruation that prevail in India the accessibility to sanitary products is low and many rural women still do not know what a sanitary napkin is. Making them readily available will improve the reproductive health of thousands of women in rural India. Find out more here!
